路面電車利用者への混空情報提供の有用性の検証

概要	電車の混雑に対し，増発などの運行サービスの増強は費用が嵩むことなどから早急な進展は望めない．そこで，電車ごとの混雑の偏りを是正することで，利用者にとって少しでも快適な電車での移動を実現し，また混雑の平準化により定時運行を支援できる可能性がある．本研究では，高知県の土佐電氣鐵道において，つぎつぎに電停に到着する路面電車の混雑情報（以下「混空情報」と記す）を表示する情報板を設置し，リアルタイムで混雑状況を利用者に情報提供する社会実験を行った．混空情報の提供にあわせて利用者の乗車行動に関する調査とアンケート調査を行い，利用者の乗車選択意識と行動の変化を把握することで混空情報提供の有用性を検証した．

Title	Field Demonstration of Usefulness of the Streetcar Congestion Information for Passengers on the Stop

Abstract	The congestion of trains has been the social problem, but there are some bias of the congestion between the first departure and next departure. The bias often occurs the train delay. Then, we guessed that it is possible to decrease the bias by offering the congestion information of departure trains to the train passengers. In this study, the pilot program of offering the congestion information was conducted at the streetcar stop of the TOSA ELECTRIC RAILWAY in Kochi. In addition, the usefulness of the congestion information was verified by the passenger behavior investigation and the questionnaire survey. As the results, we clarified that it is useful to offer the congestion information to passengers.
