概要	休日における幹線交通は，渋滞を頻発させる高速道路等の解決すべき問題を抱え，かつ将来にわたり持続可能な利用体系のあり方を科学的に模索する必要があるにも関わらず，ミクロな交通行動に関する研究の蓄積は十分ではない．本研究は，休日の幹線鉄道と自動車との競合状態に焦点をあてた利用実態調査を行ない，特に交通機関選択時に潜在する主観的意識を考慮した交通機関選択モデルの構築により，交通機関選択行動の解明に向けた考察を行なうものである．さらには，そこから得られた知見に基づき，環境保全の観点からも期待がかかる幹線鉄道におけるサービス方策のあり方やその検討を支援する調査・分析方法について提言している．

Title	A Study on Mode Choice Behavior for Inter-regional Travelers on Holidays Focused on Subjective Factors

Abstract	This paper focuses on the trunk line transportation on holidays, where several issues such as traffic congestion on some expressways have not been improved in lack of analyses of individual behavior. The mode choice behavior between a trunk line railway and an automobile on holidays is analyzed by applying the disaggregate mode choice model with the consideration of personal subjective factors. The paper discusses some findings such as characteristics of choice behavior, which imply both some suitable service plans for environment friendly railways to grasp demands back from automobiles and proper methods of surveys and analyses.
