概要	工業用原材料，建設資材，食料原料等でばらの荷姿を取るドライバルク貨物は，主にバルクキャリアによって輸送される．これまで，このバルクキャリアの船型や動静に関する調査・研究は，コンテナ等に比べて数が少なかった．一方，ドライバルク貨物の円滑で効率的な輸送のために，バルクキャリア対応の港湾施設は，その船型や動静の動向を十分に把握したものでなければならない．この点を踏まえ，本報告は，バルクキャリアの寄港実績と船型の推移に関する実態分析を，全バルクキャリアのみならず運搬品目毎にも実施したものである．さらに，船型Typeによる必要バース水深の分析も行った．

Title	Research on the Trend of the Sizes of Bulk Carriers

Abstract	Bulk carriers carries dry bulk cargo such as grain, log, coal, ore and so on. Previous studies have not analyzed the trend of size of bulk carrier sufficiently. This paper deals with this trend by not only all bulk carrier fleet, but also the vessels of each carrying cargo. Beside this, the data of bulk carriers that call at Japanese port are also analyzed. Furthermore, the way of making the plan of developing the berth for bulk carrier is shown.
