英国における地方レベルの新たな交通計画システム

概要	本論文は，英国で2000年より導入される予定となっている地方交通計画（Local Transport Plan）に関して，まずその導入背景を整理し，次に1999年7月までに策定されている暫定的な地方交通計画の概要について報告する．また，地方交通計画の本格導入にいたるまでに暫定的な形で検討されている事例として，ケンブリッジシャーカウンティで策定された地方交通計画を紹介する．最後に，地方交通計画の導入にあたって生じている問題点を整理する．

Title	Introduction of Local Transport Plan into the United Kingdom

Abstract	This paper aims to report a Local Transport Plan(LTP) introduced into England and Wales of the United Kingdom. The LTP is put in place of the Transport Policies and Programmes according to the new transport white paper published by the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions in July, 1998. This intends an integrated transport in local areas mainly by shifting from a car use to public transport, waking and cycling. This paper shows an outline of a guideline on the LTP and a Cambridgeshire County's case as an example of provisional LTP, submitted to the central government.
