| Abstract |
This paper is intended to demonstrate quantitatively that the subcontracting transport affects the possibility of traffic accidents in the trucking industry in Japan. First, the actual condition of multiple subcontracting structure in the trucking industry is discussed to show that the possibility of “transaction stage（subcontracted transport）”affects the human factors of traffic accidents. Then, the statistic analysis of accidents data shows the difference in transaction stage is related to the fatal accidents. In addition, the reduction of fatal accidents may be caused by obtaining“G Mark（excellent safety office certification）”. |
