概要	リスクコミュニケーションは，送り手と受け手との相互作用的な情報や意見の交換過程である．本研究では，鉄道において，安全の重要性と本質を再整理したうえで，今日，ホームの安全対策，遅延問題，地域鉄道における安全対策等に関して，事業者と利用者との間でのリスクコミュニケーションの必要性が高まっていることを明らかにする．そして，リスクコミュニケーションを推進するための方策として，利用者に関する意識改革，コミュニケーションシステムの改善を提言する．
