1.About KOTI

 KOTI is a government research organization that considers transportation and traffic as an essential part of global competitiveness and has been conducting a wide range of research and studies to build a comfortable and efficient transportation system since 1985. In addition to improving the effectiveness of transportation and traffic services, they are also engaged in various issues such as overcoming spatial and temporal resistance, building environmentally friendly systems, and technological innovation in the transportation sector. Furthermore, they conduct research activities not only in Korea but also in collaboration and cooperation with overseas research organizations.

2.Relationship

 With the recommendation of the government agencies of both countries, JTTRI and KOTI have been engaged in exchanges as the transport policy think tanks of Japan and Korea in the transport sector. Especially since the signing of the research agreement in 2000, we have been actively exchanging information with each other. In 2005, we concluded a more specific research agreement, and we continue to conduct research exchange through participation in joint research projects.
