Event Summary

In October 2023, the JTTRI-AIRO held the Symposium in the theme of "Overtourism at Major Destinations and Development of Satellites - Vietnam and Japan working towards Sustainable Tourism -".In this event of the second collaborated with Viet Nam, both countries will introduce government’s policies and best practices, and discuss for how to balance tourism development and preservation of cultural heritage site.
Balancing tourism development and preservation of cultural heritage site is the one of important issue for both countries which have rich tourism resources to attract tourists. Through discussions at this event, we aim to contribute to the realization of high-quality tourism that takes sustainability into consideration, as well as to the enhancement and expansion of international human exchange in a wide range of fields, including culture and academia.
