On Monday, November 1, 2021, President Shukuri and President for International Affairs Okuda visited the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and had a meeting with Vice President Yamada.

We informed about the opening of the ASEAN-India Regional Office in Bangkok (Thailand) on April 1 this year and asked for further guidance and support on the activities of JTTRI and JITTI in addition to AIRO. We also asked for close cooperation between JICA's headquarters and country offices and our institute. In addition, we exchanged a wide range of opinions on the trends in the ASEAN/India region regarding transportation and tourism, including railroads, and the relationship with Japan.
