Mr. Sukuri, Chairman of JTTRI and Prof. Yamauchi, President for Research of JTTRI went to Washington D.C., U.S. to attend ‘ 2019 Civil Aviation Symposium’ in October 8, 2019, met H.E. Mr. Sugiyama, Ambassador to the U.S., Mr. Dresner Chairman of Air Transport Research Institute (ATRS), Mr. Skoutelas, Chairman of American Public Transportation Association (APTA), Mr. Kao, Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States, Mr. Tom Daschle, Former Senator and Ms. Diana, Chairwoman of National Cherry Blossom Inc.. Mr. Shukuri and Prof. Yamauchi also met Mr. Roger, CEO of TNEM and visited the planned site of Maglev between Washington D.C. and Baltimore and the Railway Museum in Baltimore.
