Event Summary
Until now, infrastructure exports to Asia and ASEAN countries have been carried out in various fields such as land transportation, aviation, maritime, and ports. On the other hand, in some of these countries, there is a supply-demand mismatch due to lack of statistics, that is, a lack of proper infrastructure development. Although it is extremely important to have statistics that form the basis of an appropriate infrastructure development plan, there is a problem with insufficient statistics in these countries. How quickly and accurately traffic statistics can be constructed in Asia and ASEAN countries is an urgent issue that must be resolved in order to promote appropriate infrastructure development and develop these countries.
Based on these situations, the presentations and discussions were held on the construction of traffic statistics, the cutting-edge technical information and efforts to contribute to the activation of mobility by utilizing big data obtained in various ways.
