Meeting with Mr. Mori, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs

On Friday, July 16, 2021, Mr. Shukuri, Chairman, JTTRI and Mr. Okuda, President for International Affairs, JTTRI visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and met with Mr. Mori, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs.

We expressed our gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) for their support and cooperation in the opening of the ASEAN-India Regional Office in Bangkok, Thailand on April 1, 2021, and asked for their continued support and advice regarding the activities of JTTRI and JITTI in addition to the ASEAN-India Regional Office. We also exchanged a wide range of views on the current status of the "Free and Open Indo-Pacific", the diplomatic importance of overseas development of transportation infrastructure such as railroads, as well as current situations in transportation and tourism.
